Anne Marie Mullen was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Recognizing her talents, the Sisters at the former Saint Jean Baptiste School encouraged her to pursue art and singing. Over time, she developed an interest in painting in both oil and watercolor mediums. She has studied with Ken Hurwitz, Pauline Bacon and currently with Bill Deveney. Also, over the years, Anne has enjoyed singing in local church choirs and chorales.
She is a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild and the Peabody Art Association. Her participation in shows and exhibits has been rewarded with ribbons and sales.
Anne has received awards at LAG shows, The Peabody International Festival Galleria, The Topsfield Fair Fine Art division as well as other local exhibits.
Much of her time is spent with family. Anne is happily married to Bill, her husband of 38 years. They raised two daughters, Elizabeth and Marie and now very much enjoy time spent with Maeve, their granddaughter.
